Yogyakarta Post Office The Great Post Office building in the Dutch colonial period was named Post, Telegraaf en Telefoon Kantoor . The building was designed by the Department of Public Works of the Dutch East Indies government, namely Burgerlijke Openbare Werken (BOW) in 1910 and began construction in 1912. From the first time it was built until now, this building functions as a post office. The condition is still well maintained.        This building has an indis pattern. The characteristics of the indis building that appear at the top of the building are nok acretorie (peak in the corner of the roof) and lucarne (small window on the slope of the roof). Lucarne functions as a decoration and ventilation for air flow inside the roof space (Sumalyo, 1993: 231). This building also has a peculiarity in openings that are in its facade. There are two types of openings in the post office, namely rectangular openings and semicircular openings...
